(29 Months)
With Wild One's sudden interest in writing letters I decided to scour the internet for some letter practice activity sheets. After searching for almost twenty minutes and not finding what I was looking for (I know, I'm impatient), I decided to make one of my own. I wanted a practice sheet that allowed for a lot of guided repetition of the same letter and several images to color (Little Miss is on a coloring kick lately). Viola!
I was all excited to share it with them. They started coloring the images right away (yes! They like it), then spent all of two minutes practicing letters and decided that they wanted to be pirates (we've been reading a lot of books about pirates lately), next it was time to play with the trains (again just for a few minutes) and then it was having their big and little Abby Cadabbys and Elmos practice open and close the jars and boxes. We played with four activities within a half hour! Did they go back to the worksheet that I made? Nope. Oh well, we'll try again next week.
Thank you Mackenzie. I hope they enjoy this. I'm looking forward to your show and tell, thank you for the invitation. Have a wonderful weekend.
